One of the last enclaves of a late-second wave, more separatist women's movement. Founded in 1986 by female squatters, Begine is a bar and meeting space for women from all around the world. Hosting countless events and gatherings every week, it is a wonderful opportunity to meet with like-minded feminists and explore issues central to the cause and support one another in their endeavors.
