We reserve the right to remove or alter any photo and/or text we deem to be in violation of our guidelines, at our discretion. You may not post, upload, display or otherwise make available any of the content described below. Any violation of these terms will be cause for permanent removal from Ellgeebe.

Please help us make Ellgeebe an inclusive, intelligent and constructive community and forum for sharing and discussion.

Ellgeebe does not allow:

  • Sexually explicit or illegal material: nude, partially nude, pornographic, sexually or suggestive content, whether photographic or written. This is includes links or comments containing sexually explicit content material.
  • Profane, illegal, offensive or derogatory contents: profane, suggestive or unpleasant language; non-constructive, negative statements, photos or discussion of illegal drugs or activities; personal attacks of any kind against any group or individual; commentary that incites racism, sexism, homophobia, hatred or violence; or any contributions that could be considered as such. This includes the posting or transmitting of offensive, hateful and inappropriate information, regardless of whether the material itself is deemed to be unlawful. Any content that puts Ellgeebe in legal jeopardy whether libelous, defamatory or in breach of copyright.
  • Fraudulent information: You may not falsely represent, portray or identify a location or destination, use someone else's picture as your own or impersonate another person.
  • Copyrighted materials: Content that infringes upon or violates the rights of another person or business (including intellectual property rights, and rights of privacy and publicity).
  • Personal information: Posting phone numbers, email addresses, home or work addresses or similar personal information of yourself or others is not permitted.
  • Commercial or solicitous posts: Advertisement of services, goods, events, websites or apps including promotion of competing products, services or brands. We will remove any posts that are obviously commercial, spam-like or solicitous.

Conduct

You may not:

  • Engage in any unlawful conduct, or conduct which may infringe upon the rights of other persons, trademarks, copyrights or any other proprietary or intellectual property rights.
  • Gain unauthorized access to the Ellgeebe Services or any attempt to hack, password mine or interfere with Ellgeebe operations. Any other means or attempts to interfere with the proper working of the Ellgeebe Services, or any activity conducted on Ellgeebe Services is unlawful.
  • Engage in Spam, link baiting or posting of files containing viruses that could damage the operation of other people's computers or mobile devices.

You may:

  • Post external links to Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn and other online profiles, websites and small businesses are as long as the content of these pages adheres to the Ellgeebe guidelines. Ellgeebe reserves the right to remove links at its discretion.

ellgeeBE Review Guidelines


Registered users are able to rate and review properties and experiences listed on the ellgeeBE website. It takes only a few minutes to tell us about and rate your experience, and both reviews and ratings are an incredibly useful resource to other travelers and members of the community.

Review guidelines

  1. Reviewers must be 18-years or older
  2. A quality review is one that is relevant to travelers or the community, focused on providing honest, detailed and original information to the community about your first-hand experience and refraining from digressing into non-related issues. The content of the review must related directly to the experience or property being reviewed. *

    For example, it is not enough to say: "I liked this experience a lot. It was very nice. I will go back" or "The restaurant was not as good as I expected."

    Tell us and the community why. Constructively and respectfully provide examples and details about what you liked and disliked supported by concrete details to help prepare other visitors or supply business owners with useful feedback i.e. location, experience, service provided, value, décor, cleanliness. Be creative and proud of your review!

  3. All content should be family-friendly. ellgeeBE does not publish reviews that include profanity, references to illegal or sexually explicit activity, personal insults or hate speech.
  4. There is a minimum character count that must be met before your review may be submitted.
  5. Reviews by a business or competitor of their own or their competitors' businesses will not be published since the value of the review platform comes from unbiased information and experience. ellgeeBE will not publish promotional, spam or defamatory content of any kind.
  6. You may post images that meet our photo guidelines along with your review. Images must be in png, gif or jpg format and X MB or less and at least XX pixels x XX pixels.
