The magnificent Bode-Museum houses a varied collection of sculptures from Coptic Egypt through the early Renaissance, Byzantine Art, coins and metals. The historically preserved building is of imposing proportion, and worth at least a peek inside (if you have the strength to open the front door). It also is home to one of the world's more extensive coin collections.
