East the restaurant in the hotel of the same name is a dramatic venue in a former iron foundry. It has a made-for-an-entrance stairway, wave-like pillars and a three-story vaulted ceiling. Breakfast and lunch are served, but it's the Euro-Asian dishes and sushi that make for an exotic evening. Weekends it morphs into a night club.
