The Museu d'art Comtemporani d'Eivissa (MACE), opened in 1964 and located in the town's former military storeroom, now houses contemporary works by local and global artists. There are also temporary exhibitions, an archive of life and culture on the island, an assembly hall, study rooms, a beautiful garden and a documentary archive for researchers and students.
