Located in the heart of Downtown's Arts District, Artifice is a hip lounge and events space with a regular rotation of bands, theater, and performance art. The atmosphere is suitably bohemian, with exposed brick and displays of photos and paintings, and while the small stage and dance floor draw crowds, towards the back you'll find plenty of room with couches for mellow lounging. There's no cover most nights, and drinks prices are about average for the area.
