The five-apartment Hotel Covell is a micro-hotel on top of a 1930s building. Bar Covell, an upscale wine bar that sells wine by the glass, is just downstairs. No lobby or 24-hour reception desk, but guests are greeted personally and given tours of their accommodation upon arrival. Rooms are marked by book chapters rather than number and decorated according to an amusing backstory concocted about a fictional writer who lived on the site.
