No high-rises shade the beach at the North Shore Open Space Park between Miami Beach and Surfside. The uncrowded stretch between 78th St. and 88th Terr. has picnic tables, a dog park, walking trails and plenty of metered parking. It's the way Miami Beach used to be way back when.
