The Nor'East has all the appeal of a Secret Garden - albeit one that serves quality craft beer and cocktails - and makes for a cool green haven amid the dusty bustle of Commercial Street. Opened by a family of locals in 2010, it's been racking up awards ever since: Boston Magazine voted it the best bar on Cape Cod in 2013. The emphasis here is on small-batch, handmade items, whether they be local brews, house-made cocktail bitters or fresh pasta, and nearly everything on the menu is worth trying. Closed from September through April.
