Established as a food market in 1683, Old Spitalfields is a charming covered market in Grade II listed Victorian buildings with a central traders' space surrounded by fashion boutiques, crafty shops, restaurants and bars. In 1991, the produce portion moved to New Spitalfields Market in Leyton. The calendar of events includes monthly Friday night markets, arts & crafts markets, antiques markets, brewers' markets and other pop up events. Weekends are busiest.
