Chef Dominique Le Stanc's La Merenda has no telephone, accepts no credit cards and seats patrons on stools, but the draw is its superb Niçois cuisine and the chef's reputation. Le Stanc earned two stars at Le Negresco's Le Chantecler before buying this minuscule spot. The only way to reserve is to stop by when it's open.
