Open since 2011, Silencio is Paris's first private members' nightclub cum salon. Conceived by David Lynch, who even picked out the toilet bowls, it has smoked glass walls, Buddhist cocktail bars, a 24-seat cinema and mid-century furniture. The mind-blowing decor supposedly was inspired by the mysterious Club Silencio in Lynch's "Mulholland Drive." The hoi polloi can try for entry after midnight.
