During the Summer, one of the nicest things to do is attend one of Berlin's many open-air cinemas (Freiluftkinos) that are dotted throughout the city. There's the big ones, such as the Summer Cinema at the Kulturforum and the one in Volkspark Freidrichshain, as well as the smaller, more intimate affairs like das Freiluftkino Kreuzberg, which is one of the longest-running in the city.
