The Poolbar is a proper dive bar off the tourist track in Amsterdam with a laid-back atmosphere, boardgames, dart boards, shuffle board, friendly staff and ice cold draft beer. There is a pool table area (smoking permitted) with a lot of tables that are charged by the minute and open to all skill levels, but get there early if you don't want to wait. Every first Sunday of the month, there's a friendly tournament.
