Palihotel Melrose is an artsy boutique hotel in the middle of the hip shops, bars and restaurants of Melrose Avenue. Each of the 32 rooms is individually decorated, including "moody" rooms perfect for sleeping all day if you've been up all night. Mini bars are stocked by Dean and Deluca. The Hart and the Hunter serves creative comfort food like a luncheon salad of beets, avocado, cabbage and quinoa and a dinner main of chopped scallops with hominy, bacon and lime. Happy Hour is 3 pm to 6 pm, Tuesday through Friday.
