This 4,000-sq-ft bare-bones former TV studio plays host to a great line-up of indie, punk, grunge, and rock bands. The venue is small and intimate, so if your favorite band is playing here, you'll get to see them up close. Upstairs there's a small bar and balcony, which can be a welcome respite from the sweaty throngs below but really, if you're at Rickshaw Stop, you're here to dance. Cockblock SF host a popular party for young women every second Saturday of the month.
